What to do in Bled?
Bled and its surroundings are indeed interesting to explore. You can spend your holidays in peace, enjoy lounging on the shores of lake Bled and swimming in the lake, or experience them actively and adrenaline-fueled.
Head to Bled Castle, which offers a beautiful view of everything around, walk through the gorge of the river Radovna, which formed the Bled Vintgar, or go hiking in the surrounding hills. Pokljuka is pretty close too. You can also explore Bled by bike, as many bicycle paths exist. For more adrenaline-oriented people, we recommended summer sledding at the Straža ski resort, adventure park, Dolinka zip line, and tandem paragliding.
Of course, you should not forget to visit a small island in the middle of the lake with the church and taste a traditional Bled cream cake.
